Disom Pargana Society is dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for tribal communities in India. We strive to provide access to quality education and promote sustainable development.

Founded by a group of passionate individuals, our journey began with a vision to uplift tribal populations by tackling educational barriers and fostering self-sufficiency.

Community Schools

Disom Pargana Society aims to establish “the learning village” for children aged 6 to 9, referred to as “Badidari dari,” inspired by a resilient tree with medicinal leaves. In this hands-on learning environment, children will engage with various subjects and collaborate with the community to construct Oraks—small bamboo hut classrooms. This approach encourages creativity while providing practical applications of mathematical concepts.

Inclusive Curriculum

Disom Pargana Society prioritizes providing culturally rooted and practical education to tribal children, fostering a strong connection to their heritage while equipping them with modern knowledge and skills. The curriculum is specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by tribal communities, particularly the Santhal tribe, and integrates traditional customs with innovative teaching methods. This approach ensures that students receive an education that respects their cultural identity while also preparing them for contemporary society.
